ATOS, Research & Innovation, R&D node of ATOS, is a point of world reference in innovation for the whole ATOS group. José Lorenzo

José Lorenzo is the Head of the Manufacturing, Retail and Environment Market in Atos Research & Innovation (ARI) and former E&U Market Manager, and Transport and Tourism Head of Sector, also in ARI. He has a Telecommunication Engineer Degree (Master of Science) and specialty of TELEMATICA (Data Transmission) by the Faculty of Technology in the University of Vigo (Spain). He joined the ATOS former, Sema Group sae, in April 2001 as a Consultant. Since then, he has been involved in the technical development, management and coordination of EU funded projects, like ORCHESTRA or DEWS. Latest projects being coordinated by him are EO2HEAVEN (as Research Coordinator), OpenNode or ENVIROFI (phase 1 project of the FI-PPP).

Eva Vega Sanchez

WP2 Leader and Exploitation Manager

Eva Vega has a degree in Economics (2000), University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Spain). She has been working for Atos since 2009. Nowadays, she works as a business consultant in the Manufacturing and Retail Sector in Atos Research and Innovation. She is leading the exploitation tasks of FITMAN (FI-PPP phase 2 project applied to manufacturing), EASy-IMP project (development of a design collaboration platform for smart clothing) and OCTAVE (Objective Control of TAlker VErification). Previously, she also leaded exploitation in the ARTEMIS project ASTUTE (Pro-active decision support for data-intensive environments) and collaborated in the impact assessment tasks of the Co-Cities project (Cooperative Cities extend and validate mobility services). Her background also includes the participation in several Public Sector National consultancy projects (SIRHUS Project- Integral System of Human Resources, Meta4-Integral System of Human Resources and Health Institutions Staff Payroll).She has previous experience as a Market Analyst for a FMCG Multinational and as an external Foreign Trade Consultant for the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Said Rahma Rodriguez

Platform integration manager

Said RAHMA is a software engineer who graduated in 1986 at ENREA (École Nationale de Radiotechnique et d’Électricité Appliquée, now ENSEA – École Nationale Supérieure de l’Electronique et de ses Application ). He has been working in Atos since 1997 serving as software engineer in Atos Research and Innovation department. He has a long experience in software design, development and integration, knowledge and expertise in the New Technologies and software related to Cooperative systems, Embedded systems, Electric Vehicles, wireless technologies, Bluetooth, LBS (Location Based Services), developments for embedded devices, mobile phones and PDAs, etc., for local and international customers. Under Atos umbrella he has participated in many projects. A selection of them is mentioned here.
He served as technical coordinator, leader of Work package Software Development and software project manager in FIspace (a project framed in the context of FI-PPP European Programme and using the FIWARE European middleware platform). He worked in projects FITMAN (Future Internet Technologies for MANufacturing) as responsible of the specific enabler (SE) of the Shopfloor Data Collection, Co-Cities (Cooperative Cities extend and validate mobility services), and e-DASH (Electricity Demand and Supply Harmonizing for EVs – Electric Vehicles).
He also participated in the following projects of the EUREKA Cluster Programme ITEA (Information Technology for European Advancement) R&D programme: A2Nets (Autonomic Services in M2M Networks), where he dealt with use cases analysis and software platform and interoperability analysis, and uService (Ubiquitous Service Infrastructure for the Mobile Super Prosumer) where he dealt with architecture and service engineering and with the FOT “Field Operational Test” platform.
He took part in two national (Spanish) projects: m:VIA (Intelligent Transport Systems and ICT communications technological and models of services to the road transport), and PIRAmIDE (Personalizable Interactions with Resources on AmI-enabled mobile Dynamic Environment). Those projects were funded by national R&D and Innovation programs AVANZA I+D, PROFIT, and CENIT.
He led work packages of the national (Spanish) R&D project m:Ciudad (wireless communications and mobility/pervasiveness of urban services). He participated in the TIMI project within the CENIT programme. He has participated in projects LLMS, EuroSkyWay on aerospace systems funded by ESA, as well as in projects I-MIGO, ASAP, VIP-DATA, CONTENT4ALL, P2PME, and TRACEBACK supported by the European Commission.
