Findomestic Bank S.p.A. (Findomestic) specializes in credit to families towards purchasing of goods and services for private use. It was incorporated in 1984 as a financial company upon joint initiative of some French and Italian banks. Findomestic has always been a partner of its customers in the realization of their projects for the improvement of quality of life, by making credit both accessible and responsible, socially and economically useful to the country.
Since June 24, 2011, Findomestic Banca SpA shares are owned 100% by BNP Paribas Personal Finance. BNP Paribas is a European leader in banking and financial services in Europe. The Group is present in 80 countries with a workforce of approximately 200,000 employees, half of them operating in its four domestic markets (Belgium, France, Italy and Luxembourg).
The three main areas of activity of BNP Paribas complement to each other and contribute to Findomestic’s strategic strength and financial solidity: (a) Retail Banking; (b) Investment Solutions; and (c) Corporate & Investment Banking.
Putting the customer at the center of its activities, “the bank for a changing world” is positioned as a bank that is responsibly at the service of its customers and is characterized by a rigorous approach to risk management, its adaptability and its ability to innovate.
Findomestic operates through five channels for the delivery of its services: (1) Commercial Operators Affiliated to it; (2) Findomestic Customer Centers; (3) Agent Network for Findomestic; (4) Banks, insurance companies, service companies; (5) Multichannel Interaction.
Findomestic provides its customers the opportunity to take advantage of all the channels on and off-line according to the principles of cross channeling, leaving to the customer the opportunity to use at any time the channel that turns out to be more suitable to his needs.
Findomestic mainly contributes to workpackages 7 and 8.

Manuela Saba

Manuela Saba is a specialist senior legal counsellor in Findomestic Banca S.p.A.. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Law in 1999 and in 2000 started working for Findomestic. In the last seven years she has been in charge of various tasks in the Legal Department, mainly in the areas of corporate secretariat, privacy issues, legal advisory, legal watch and internal control. She also worked in the drafting of procurement contracts and transnational IT contracts and in 2013 – 2014 was in charge of coordinating activities related to lawsuits and alternative dispute resolutions issues. She cooperates with the legal office of the French parent company of Findomestic on an ongoing basis. Since August 2014 she has been in charge of privacy issues for the bank.

Lorenzo Zara

Lorenzo Zara has been Head of Operational Development, a staff position in B2C Markets Department of Findomestic Banca, since April 2010. He is responsible for coordination and participation in all development projects concerning the channels managed by the Department (physical, web, telephone ..). He has been working for Findomestic since 1985. After the first two years as Head of Commercial Branch in Sassari, he moved to the Headquarters in Florence where after working for two years in the Network Operational structure and three years in Auditing and Internal Control, in 1994 he became, until 2006, Head of Risk Credit Methodology in the Risk Department where he was involved in IT development for the introduction of new technology such as expert systems, credit card chip technology and internet development for credit applications. Between 2007 and 2010 he worked in IT Department with the role of managing the relations between the Department and the other structures of Findomestic for new projects and coordinating the Department’s internal activities.
